SIMRAN KAUR,
University Relations Manager
Simran is a graduate from the University of Delhi, India, with a degree in Political Science (Honours) and a minor in Business Economics. She is an advocate for civic learning and education equity, driven by work that strengthens institutions while supporting young leaders in building meaningful social impact.
As a Millennium Fellowship alumna, she led Project Beyond Textbooks, an initiative supporting children from low-income communities during Covid-19 school closures, delivering skill-based workshops to 100+ children (including persons with IDD) aged 5–12 across Delhi and rural Uttar Pradesh.
She brings experience across program management, admissions, and impact reporting. Previously, Simran served as Admissions Manager and Program Coordinator at MCN contributing to admissions strategy, program execution, and operational improvement. She has also worked with the MEL team at American India Foundation, where she analyzed and visualized outcomes across 80+ projects spanning livelihoods, digital inclusion, learning & migration, and public health.
As University Relations Manager, Simran is working at the intersection of higher education, civic learning, and global youth leadership. In this role, she leads relationship-building and communications with university administrators across 290+ campuses in 47 countries, while also supporting program strategy, management, and operations for the Millennium Fellowship. As a part of her work, she is helping build the MCN Civic Learning Council, a global coalition of university leaders advancing civic learning across higher education institutions, launched at the United Nations in July 2025.
