Noyonica Chatterjee is a dynamic and intellectually curious undergraduate at Plaksha University, India, majoring in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. Her insatiable curiosity and belief in the interconnectivity of knowledge drive her to explore diverse domains, she describes her north star to be helping everyone uncover the entangled beauty of the world through truth. Noyonica's transformative journey began at the age of 17 when she heard Kamala Harris's inaugural speech as Vice President. Those powerful words, "You may be the first to do many things. Make sure you are not the last," deeply resonated with her, igniting a passion for creating lasting social impact.

Recognized for her unwavering dedication, Noyonica was selected as a Grace Hopper Scholar in 2022, a prestigious achievement highlighting her commitment to attend the largest conference of women in technology. Additionally, she served as a Campus Director for her cohort for the Millennium Fellowship 2022, playing a pivotal role in driving positive change within her community.

Throughout her tenure as the campus director of the first cohort at Plaksha University, Noyonica immersed herself in a vibrant and supportive community. Inspired by the dedication and passion of her predecessors, she felt humbled to contribute to the remarkable legacy the MCN Community had built, almost like a family. Her fellowship project, BRINK, addressed the correlation between depression and substance addiction in Punjab, while also shedding light on the challenges faced by women as silent victims of drug abuse. Reflecting her versatility and commitment to addressing real-world challenges, Noyonica played a pivotal role in the Spectral Image Analysis of Sugarcane Field Yields project. Using advanced technologies like drones and satellites, worked alongside mentors in the university on projects revolutionising the prediction of crop yield and identified stress factors, thereby empowering farmers with accurate, real-time information through a user-friendly app interface. Currently, she is actively involved in enhancing the education of deaf students through various Visualization techniques. These impactful projects exemplify Noyonica's unwavering commitment to driving positive change.

As she takes on the role of Program Coordinator, she enters this new chapter with a deep sense of gratitude and a determination to uphold the values and ideals that unite the community. Noyonica stands alongside remarkable individuals who are dedicated to empowering and uplifting young students worldwide, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those who will follow in their footsteps.
