On why Bruno wants to join MCC2014: "I believe that being immersed in a context of excellence like in the Millennium Campus Network community is the best way to prepare for a successful future. In addition, travelling to new places and being exposed to different cultures will expand my world view and shape me to become a professional able to work in different cultural contexts. In my perspective, with the increase of global interconnectivity, the ability to deal well with diversity and adapt easily is essential in organizations. While participating in the conference I will be able to improve my communication and leadership skills. In the context of intense exchanges of ideas and information, I want to be a leader who can motivate and reinvent relationships that go beyond the cultural and language boundaries. I want to develop your entrepreneurial potential. In my view, having an entrepreneurial profile means solving problems with a sense of ownership. Participating in this conference and living an experience out of my comfort zone will help me to become so much more innovative, responsive and entrepreneurial. At the same time, I will just spread my expertise and entrepreneurial background which I have build through all the experiences I had had. And above all, inspire other participants to take action, improve themselves, and so impact the world."
Bruno, as well as many other student leaders from across the globe, will be joining us this October 10-12th, 2014 at the 6th Annual Millennium Campus Conference. There, they and other students will be exchanging ideas and talking about how to achieve the UN Millennium Goals. in addition, everyone will be able to attend keynote speeches by influential global leaders such as Nicholas Kristof, Dr. Paul Farmer, among others.
