He is an engager-ambassador in Brazil, spreading projects and social causes all over the country as well as inspiring young people to engage themselves in prospective initiatives, and so positively impact their communities. Bruno has a willingness to get involved in social projects and a desire to develop as a leader. He has been trained in leadership by the prestigious "Laboratorio Estudar;" he has been chosen as an ambassador of one of the largest projects in Brazil promoting social impact, Imagina na Copa. He has lead the "ReciclAcao" project, funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education and Culture, which empowers the workers of the recycling cooperative COOREPA through practices of self-management. He also funded a college society "Vai dar Liga!" which promotes social entrepreneurship within the campus. Most importantly, he's one of the most engaging ambassador of the World Merit network, spreading ideas for debates, taking initative in facilitating partnerships, and engaging the global community to take social actions.

On why Bruno wants to join MCC2014: "I believe that being immersed in a context of excellence like in the Millennium Campus Network community is the best way to prepare for a successful future. In addition, travelling to new places and being exposed to different cultures will expand my world view and shape me to become a professional able to work in different cultural contexts. In my perspective, with the increase of global interconnectivity, the ability to deal well with diversity and adapt easily is essential in organizations. While participating in the conference I will be able to improve my communication and leadership skills. In the context of intense exchanges of ideas and information, I want to be a leader who can motivate and reinvent relationships that go beyond the cultural and language boundaries. I want to develop your entrepreneurial potential. In my view, having an entrepreneurial profile means solving problems with a sense of ownership. Participating in this conference and living an experience out of my comfort zone will help me to become so much more innovative, responsive and entrepreneurial. At the same time, I will just spread my expertise and entrepreneurial background which I have build through all the experiences I had had. And above all, inspire other participants to take action, improve themselves, and so impact the world."

Bruno, as well as many other student leaders from across the globe, will be joining us this October 10-12th, 2014 at the 6th Annual Millennium Campus Conference. There, they and other students will be exchanging ideas and talking about how to achieve the UN Millennium Goals. in addition, everyone will be able to attend keynote speeches by influential global leaders such as Nicholas KristofDr. Paul Farmer, among others. Apply now!
