Edith, Millennium Fellow 2015-2016
American Mock World Health Organization, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Edith Lee is a senior pursuing a double major in Health Policy and Management, and Economics, with a Chemistry minor.
She is from Hong Kong, where the SARS crisis of 2003 and H5N1 crisis of 2009 ignited her interest in public health. She has over nine years experience competing in and running Model United Nations conferences, and had the opportunity to realize both her passions as one of the first CoDirectors of the American Mock World Health Organization. She seeks to increase students’ engagement in public health by providing a platform to empower students to translate theory into practice, to experience the triumphs and frustrations of diplomacy, and to make connections that last a lifetime.
