Director of the Center for Global Connections at Regis College in Weston, MA
After having a business education and background, David entered the field of higher education. He started out as a Study abroad Advisor at Marywood University and worked his way to Associate Director for International Affairs. During that time he increased study abroad participation from 10 students to over 40 students going abroad per semester along with creating 7 faulty-led trips with another 120 students gaining an international experience. He also doubled the amount of international students studying at the school. He is the founding Director of the Center for Global Connections at Regis College. He has a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Marywood University and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Education at Regis where his research is focused on experiential learning for short-term faculty-led study abroad. He has traveled extensively throughout the world for study abroad and recruiting efforts in countries such as Cuba, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Italy Spain, England, Peru, Iraq among many other countries. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his job and is always welcoming students from other countries to achieve their academic goals in the United States while also helping students that are interested in studying abroad.
