Constance, Millennium Fellow 2015-2016
Human Rights Alliance, Miami Dade Honors College
Constance is a sophomore at Miami Dade Honors College studying Philosophy and Mandarin. She is the President of Human Rights Alliance. This is a student organization in which her and her team work to bring awareness to the community on human rights violations through round table discussions, community outreach events, and partnerships with local non=profit organizations. This year Human Rights Alliance has partnered with the Life of Freedom Center, to collect over 300 hope totes for sex trafficking survivors, as well as Breakthrough Miami to collect 200 book bags filled with school supplies for inner city youth. Constance is also the Vice President of Model United Nations, where she has successfully learned about diplomacy and international relations through friendly competition, as shown by the Honorable Mention she and her teammates received. She is a certified mentor for sex trafficking survivors and is an active volunteer for the Glory House of Miami. She hopes to one day pursue a career, which will allow her to bring awareness to sex trafficking and pursue projects that will help to end it.
