Global Medical Brigades at Boston University 

Chelsea is a sophomore Cultural Anthropology and pre-med student at Boston University. At BU, Chelsea is the President of Global Medical Brigades - a secular, international, student-operated volunteer organization whose mission is to provide sustained healthcare to an underserved community in Sartenejas, Honduras. Over the course of two, week-long service trips in May 2014 and January 2015, Chelsea and Global Medical Brigades seek to provide immediate health services to 250 patients. The services Global Medical Brigades  provide include medical consultation with a licensed physician or gynecologist, consultation with a licensed dentist, prescription of medication, basic health education through seminars and posters, and fluoride treatment for local children.
