Anne, Millennium Fellow 2015-2016

Anne is a sophomore at Barnard College of Columbia University studying Middle Eastern South Asian and African Studies with a concentration in the Middle East. She is fascinated with international affairs and after spending the summer in Amman, Jordan, is hoping to go into a career in the Foreign Service. She is a new member of the fundraising team for GlobeMed at Columbia University and is excited to make the promotion of social justice and global health a more integral part of her day-to-day life. In addition to GlobeMed, Anne is a Senior Health Educator with Peer Health Exchange, a national nonprofit that sends college-aged students into public high schools in the area with the goal of empowering teens to effectively make healthy decisions. Anne was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.
