global brigades, university of miami

I am an international student and sophomore at the University of Miami, majoring in Business Management. I am the President of the Business Brigade in the organization called Global Brigades.

Global Brigades is an international non-profit that empowers communities to meet their health and economic goals through university volunteers and local teams. As the President of the Business Brigade, I make sure that Volunteers empower small businesses in rural communities to become more economically stable. Volunteers provide financial literacy and planning, strategy consulting, and recommendations for potential business loans.

Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world.

Our vision is to improve equality of life by igniting the largest student-led social responsibility movement on the planet. As a Millennium Fellow, I am excited to meet with other leaders passionate in international and sustainable development. However, make an important impact is one of the most important goal. I am impressed how students have the ability to change the world.
