Grace Lee is a fifth year student at Northeastern University majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience with minors in International Affairs and History. She is one of two fellows representing GlobeMed at Northeastern this year. GlobeMed aims to close the global health equity gap by empowering students and communities to work together through sustainable, long-term partnerships. GlobeMed at Northeastern is partnered with Kitovu Mobile LTD in Masaka, Uganda on their water sanitation and hygiene project. In the past seven years of partnership, Kitovu and GlobeMed have opened several wells, tippy taps, pit latrines and supported income generating projects in Maska. During her time in GlobeMed, Grace has held a variety of leadership positions as well as worked with Kitovu in Masaka through GlobeMed’s GROW internship in 2015. Grace is passionate about global health and educational equity and hopes to pursue a MSW/MPH degree in the future.
