Delegate Spotlight: Erfan Apriyanto

Muhamad Erfan Apriyanto is a student from Indonesia. He is part of GAMAPINSA which stands for Big Family of Student Leaders Nations.

GAMAPINSA is an organization under the leadership of non-profit organizations "Dompet Dhuafa Jawa Barat," Indonesia. Students from the entire region of West Java comprise the organization. The goal is to serve as the future leaders who are ready to move in alleviating poverty in Indonesia, increasing welfare, education, and humanity. In the last year, they have successfully educated students in high schools throughout the region of West Java for three consecutive months, urging them to continue their education into college as efforts to alleviate poverty and raise their living standards. In addition, they are also starters of the pioneer movement "Indonesia Move On." In this, they invite all the people of Indonesia to move, change their bad habits, and fulfill their spirituality. 

On why he wants to attend: "This conference is important to attend. [To be a part of MCC2014 will mean that] I can get to know the character of the students of the world, great leaders [who] inspire. Here I can also get a relation in support of my movement and my activities in GAMAPINSA. Here I [can] also initiate the exchange of ideas and establish relationships with international students, this is what I need now and in the future."

Erfan, as well as many other student leaders from across the globe, will be joining us this October 10-12th, 2014 at the 6th Annual Millennium Campus Conference. There, they and other students will be exchanging ideas and talking about how to achieve the UN Millennium Goals. in addition, everyone will be able to attend keynote speeches by influential global leaders such as Nicholas KristofDr. Paul Farmer, among others. Apply now!
